Dear Devers Families and Community Partners,

I am delighted to introduce myself as Traci Cooper, your new principal. I have been an educator for over 20 years, working as a teacher and administrator in various schools within and out of DoDEA. I am thrilled and honored to join the Dolphin Team and lead our school to excellence. My vision is to help our students grow in confidence and competence by giving them opportunities to showcase their diverse talents and skills in academics, arts, and leadership. I want to ensure that our scholars have the necessary tools and resources to achieve their goals and dreams.

As we start the second half of SY 2023-2024, I am eager to work with you and our amazing staff to support our scholars' social, emotional, and academic growth in a safe and fun learning environment. I hope you will stay connected with our team to help us realize our vision that our students will enjoy positive relationships and high-quality instruction every day.

Being an educator has been a joy and a learning experience for me. I believe that every year's success depends on the teamwork between home and school. This year will be no different. All students at Devers Elementary School will be valued, supported, and challenged. That is why your involvement is crucial for your child's success: we are better together! Your feedback, engagement, and collaboration are essential to enhance our students' PreK-5 experience and prepare them for the future.
