Mr. Brian Snoddy

Biography

Mr. Brian Snoddy is a educational leader with over 17 years of experience across K–12 settings. Currently serving as the Assistant Principal at Devers Elementary School in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Mr. Snoddy is committed to fostering a safe and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and inspired to succeed.

Before beginning his career in education, Mr. Snoddy proudly served in the United States Army, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and service, values that continue to guide his work in schools today.

Throughout his educational career, Mr. Snoddy has held a variety of leadership roles that reflect his passion for supporting military-connected students and building strong school communities. Prior to his current role, he served as Assistant Principal at Albritton Middle School and Lejeune High School, where he led initiatives in academic progress monitoring, staff development, and student support systems. He also worked as an Instructional Systems Specialist for DoDEA, focusing on curriculum development and professional learning in secondary social studies.

Before joining DoDEA, Mr. Snoddy held several leadership positions in Arizona, including Director of Academic Services, High School Principal, and Assistant Principal. His work in Arizona was marked by significant improvements in student achievement, college readiness, and school culture.

Mr. Snoddy holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and has completed the course work in a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. He believes deeply in the power of collaboration among educators, families, and communities to help every child reach their full potential.
