Mr. Brian Snoddy

Biography

Mr. Brian Snoddy earned his bachelor's in history from California State University, East Bay, and his master's in educational leadership from Northern Arizona State. He retired from the Army in 2008 and began his educational career in Phoenix Arizona teaching Government, Economics, and US History; and advising student government at a local high school. Soon after he pursued a career in administration and became an Assistant Principal, and then a Principal. After improving graduation rates in the schools, he served, in 2017 he became the Director of Academic Services overseeing six high schools. His guiding principles are that data must be used to improve student success and that all decisions made should be made in the best interest of the student.

In 2019 Mr. Snoddy decided he wanted to give back to the military and he began his next chapter of life by joining DoDEA as an ISS for Social Studies. However, even though he loves history, he soon realized he missed being around students. So, he went back into administration by becoming the Assistant Principal at Lejeune High School. He is now the Assistant Principal at Devers Elementary School where he loves working with teachers and staff to help military-connected students be successful in all they do.
